Short-form social media is the equivalent of a sugar hit -- It really is! The thing about tumblr, too, is it's such a good place for the visual side. Hosting and display for things like fanart and gifs are both so streamlined compared to DW. (Pillowfort strikes a great middle balance here imo!) Tumblr having an app is also suuuch an enabling factor for me and my zero-object-permanence brain. I see app, I clicky.
